Strong instruction begins with confident teachers. While research-informed teaching is essential, teachers also need practical techniques and strategies they can immediately apply in the classroom. My TESOL and English phonics workshops help educators translate research into clear, step-by-step instructional practices that improve learning. These presentations have been delivered at CamTESOL (2025 & 2026) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; the International Conference of the English Language Center at Ming Chuan University (2026) in Taipei, Taiwan; and teacher training sessions for Medan Pustaka Mas in Medan, Indonesia. Educators have used these techniques to strengthen English language instruction and early literacy for multilingual learners across Southeast Asia.
